You can't say that there is "THE longest German word" because you can combine as many words as you want :)
But it's the longest word that can be found in a german dictionary

It would have made more sense if it would have looked something like: Rindfleishettikierungs
überwachungs
Aufgavenübertragungs
Gesetz.

Or something like that.
The cuts were made while the word had not yet ended.
I mean, that is bad.
So how can you say: Learn German with us online if you cut off words before they have ended?
