In this criterion, we require the characteristic equation to find the stability of the closed loop control systems
The sufficient condition is that all the elements of the first column of the Routh array should have the same sign. If any sign change occurs then system will be unstable.
If all the elements of the first column of the Routh array are positive. There is no sign change in the first column of the Routh array. So, the control system is stable
