True, but the more transclucent ones are often cut “thinner”, to create that translucency. A jadeite bangle that’s thicker cut but has slightly less transclucency than a thin-cut bangle with a lot of translucency is actually more valuable.

Even the low quality ones are very pretty. It doesn't matter the quality when you are wearing it.
