You can also give them a carrot from the fridge. Peel it obvs it's cold and hard and they like to gnaw their gums on it
EDIT: obviously not a baby carrot! I did this with all 3 kids nobody ever choked. Use your discretion with your own children ok I'm not here to argue with anyone about whether it's a choking hazard or not.

You could also tie the cloth up and freeze it with just water & your not wasting food & baby isn't making a huge food mess.

If the wash cloths were washed with laundry detergent then this isn’t a good idea as laundry detergent doesn’t wash out therefore baby will be sucking out the leftover laundry detergent

Not in the freezer as it can hurt their gums. Put it in the fridge cuz what you really want is the coldness to soothe their gums.
