Great great introduction to the phone, Phil!

The active display bugs me without amoled. There is no point to the active display now in terms of battery saving.

I've had mine for a month now, and really enjoying it. Wish it had a finger print sensor, but can live without it.

Thanks Android Central! I have ONE question, does the camera stick out? I have been looking very closely and I can't tell if it sticks out a bit or is perfectly aligned with the back case. I hope the back is even and it's not like the Nexus 5 or others where the camera juts out a little. Hope to hear back from you.

Very tempting! But I'm still holding out for the Note 5.

Moto phones are really really nicely build i love them. my only issue is their battery life. spoiled by Note series i really cant stand a phone that cant stay with me until late afternoon...
im looking forward to Moto X Syle, especially that wood one, sleek, only if it has better battery than 2014 one

I do like that pink and rose gold back.  Textured rubber would provide nice grip.

I assume this device will be upgraded to android m sooner than all the other flagship phones after it's released.

Looks like this phone would be just what I would like. This thing of spending almost twice that for a bloatware loaded carrier flagship phone that is extremely slow to get any updates, especially security updates (AT&T HTC One m8), is a mistake I won't make twice. I can't fault the phone by any means, it truly is a great phone. It is just hard to swallow paying the full price for a phone and being forced to have apps I don't want and won't use and being ignored on updates when the phone isn't even out of warranty yet. Good job on the review.

What are the 3 dots on 3 corners if the screen? No one reviewing the style has mentioned these

they took out the amoled? So sad....but at that price point I can't really hate.

The important question is, "What does Jerry think?"

Someone should tell Phil that the carriers aren't selling this

How will you see carrier apps on it if Motorola isn't selling the phone through carriers? Does it being unlocked not cancel that out?
