95 year old was raised to work no matter what. My grandpa mowed his lawn and his 3 rental property lawns in his neighborhood. He couldn't drive anymore so he drove his lawn tractor around doing yard work. My dad found him laying in the back yard where he fell and hit his head. He died working and was one of the greatest men I have ever met. Good on those firemen. I'm sure the gentleman enjoyed talking with them.

When I first moved into my current house I tried helping my 90 year old neighbor mow her lawn and she yelled at me 😅 I initially thought she was rude but once I got to know her, she's truly an amazing woman. Her husband died in the middle of building their house and she has no children so she's always alone, and she loves doing yard work because it gives her something to do. She has a button she can press if she ever needs help and it will alert the authorities, but never uses it. She fell down and broke her nose a couple months ago and drove herself to the hospital. She lets me help out now (insisting she pays me) and she's really a funny and sarcastic lady with an attitude 😂 But she always repays me even if I tell her there's no need. She's brilliant. She's now battling skin cancer for the second time but still does all the work she can since she hates sitting around. She's a trooper

Firefighters are the best part of our community! They don't make enough money and they risk life and limb everyday for us! Thank one when you see one!

Well done, Austin Texas firefighters. It's really great to know that there are still some people out there that still have a ❤ and are kind. It's a shame more people don't do the same.
