Honestly as a female I don't think there is an easy way to discuss a woman's weight with her. I think it depends on 1. choosing an appropriate time and place to bring it up, 2. how you go about the conversation, and 3. her personality, some women are easier to talk to than others.

Honey, he's beginning to train YOU! And you'll end up disliking yourself AND him. Listen to Uncle Steve, start right now training him! Good luck 🤞

The lady actually looks fit and beautiful. That being said, I think I should be able to tell my wife things that outsiders can't or are not allowed to say(with the exception of abusive words) to her and vice versa, otherwise what's the point of getting married?

She looks great. I don’t see what her husband is talking about. She looks beautiful she looks happy and she looks healthy. As long as she is healthy why does her weight matter

I don't entirely agree with this. I wouldn't want to get so big/so small and be lied to about it in the name of "love" - that makes no sense to me. What if that behaviour from my spouse allows for my weight to spiral outta control in either direction (too big or too small)??? I think there are ways to tell people this without it being insensitive but people need to be willing to hear the truth about themselves. It is silly that the person closest to you should be shut down from telling you the truth in a loving way. In this woman's case, her size looks fine to me. Can't imagine she was soooo much thinner when they got engaged that he had to make a point about it. However, as a whole, couples have to be able to be honest with each other about such things because apart from what you look like, there are health risks related to loss/gain of weight.

"No, it's the same size. Now back to my original question."

I feel couples should be able to tell each other when they're getting out of shape. If the husband or your boyfriend is fit and she just there gaining up weight, I feel it's his responsibility to tell his lady that she getting more weight and try to help her get in shape and vice versa, especially in this era when SEXY is the new thing. We're couples we shouldn't hold nothing back, especially when it's for the betterment of our loved ones.... Just a piece of my own reasoning.

I disagree! It's Loved ones JOB to bring to your attention when you're gaining too much weight. With that said, she looks Great.

I find most of Steve's answers are to just please the women demographic, I have been married almost 6 yrs & no matter how much I try to "shut it down" the weight conversation always comes up, not only from my husband but my in-laws too, which is quite frustrating but that's how it is...
