This was a hard video to make, and I struggled for months. I took a lot of time off from social media to process my feelings and thoughts from my trip to Lesvos and the refugee crisis

And this is probably not what you want to hear.

You have to put yourself in each persons mind frame. It's 100% understandable that everyone wants a better life for themselves. As a result, thousands of people are coming in every day. From Afghani's, Syrians, Bangladeshi, Pakistani and I don't know how many more, I can only speak of the nationalities that I met. The local Greeks on the island are doing an amazing job of handling the situation. Their daily lives are now changing and everyone is learning to adapt. The volunteers are doing an amazing job in helping in every way that they can. It was beautiful to see so many good intentioned souls doing the best they could. I meet volunteers from Greece, Brazil, England, France, Spain, America, Iran, Canada, Malaysia, and I'm sure there were loads more.

Everyone cares and everyone has the best of intentions at heart.

Humanity is not lost, we're just learning to find our way. Be compassionate and keep your mind open and free.

Social media and media, in general, can be a very powerful tool, you chose which message you want to share.
