A favorite scene from The 13th Warrior (1999)
Based on the book "Eaters of the Dead" by Michael Crichton.
...which is loosely based on the old legend of Beowulf.

...an interesting path/history to the realization of this movie.

Rated R.
These two scenes are actually out of order - edited them as such to give a little more context.

I feel like this movie went under the radar for a lot of people, but it still holds up and is worth a watch if you like action, sword and shield combat, and are not afraid of a little blood and gore.
Even people that are not big Banderas fans liked this one.

This was one of the best parts of the whole movie, just that phrase gave me all the background I needed to understand how they behaved.

I don't believe in free will in the sense that we cannot "will" anything to happen or not; choice, however, I do believe in and that is the point, I think, of this scene. None of us know what will befall us tomorrow or the next moment and so, we should be about the business of life because pretty soon, we'll be about the business of death whether we like it or not...

I hear it ike this " The old Father wove the stain of your life along time ago, go hide in a hole if like, but you won't live an instant longer. Your fate is fixed, fear profits a man nothing" any corrections pls?

It applies to the ridiculous reaction to COVID19 as well.
