This hits like a song you'd hear in the background of a movie scene where the main characters are having their separate introspective sad moments. I'm also getting big 80s vibes and that retro Japanese pop influence coming back in.

This album is the first I have listened to from Poppy... and it takes me places. She is so diverse and there's so much emotion and calm in her voice, I- ....

I think the fact that this song fades perfectly into Never Find My Place is an important part of it in terms of meaning and story. If you think of them together as a single song, it's really powerful.
