The Smoking Gun exposed Alfamega for working with law enforcement after he was sentenced to 110 months behind bars for federal gun charges in September 1995. T.I. wasted no time dropping Alfamega from Grand Hustle. He explained his decision in an interview on Atlanta radio station Hot 107.9, stating, “Even though all our artists and employees are asked by us to be honest and open about their past history, at no time did Alfa disclose to me or Grand Hustle what has now appeared in the media. He essentially deceived us by failing to fully disclose the truth about his past, and there is no place in our organization for dishonest and misleading behavior.”

If you go back to when T.I. friend was shot in the van while they were leaving a concert. T.I. himself said he had tell because my best friend got shot and died in my arms. "I had to tell his mama something. This wasn't no street stuff for me". Go look up for yourself. Now in that case anyone who wouldn't talk to the police is the worst. So technically he didn't snitch but he has given information to the police before. He said he's never given information to lock someone up.

if ti continued making trap music, I would agree. but he has grown, evolved, and matured so much. he's a very intelligent and articulate guy, with a family. he most likely did go the other route, but he stayed the course. now he drops knowledge. I still love 50, grew up on his music... but if anyone is a rat, it's 50. he's damn near a 50 year old multimillionaire, does NO DIRT and doesn't even have anyone in the streets doing dirt, but he STILL perpetuates that "gangsta" image... the problem is, the audience... most people who give their opinion don't understand how any of this street shit works. but EVERYONE LOVES to believe they do.

This title is bs a lot of people respect T.I., he’s just not relevant musically anymore because his time passed, like most of the rappers from that era it has nothing to do with what you’re saying. Even after those snitching allegations (which I don’t believe because there’s still no proof) he was still a HUGE artist his biggest album of his career(paper trail) dropped during that time
