Alberta’s new government has increased focus on red tape reduction but in practical terms how does the bureaucracy adapt to large scale change? The mechanics of going digital are well established – less obvious are the winning approaches in procurement, contracting, budgeting, HR, shifting from expensive legacy IT and the myriad other requirements needed to make digital government work.
