This is a lesson I learned in a very hard way: DON'T HESITATE TO USE ITEMS. Especially in the early game. Yes, as a RPG player you would want to save them for later. But without using them you wouldn't even beat the first stage boss. I used 5 healing potions, 1 stat booster and 1 reviving pill in this boss battle. It is no joke.

Coming from P5, the lack of party-wide SP buffs really made Yukiko's castle a slog to get through. I had to return 3 times because there's just no way to replenish SP and do it in one day. Every enemy hits like a truck and mine a wet noodle. I somehow managed to beat it below lvl 14. Wouldn't say I enjoyed the experience.

when I first played P4 it was my first Persona game, I played it on Easy mode, I was really bad when it came to social links, didn't do a lot of them but the combat wasn't too difficult to understand

its crazy you mention the grocery thing i just got the game last night played maybe an hour. when you very first get to the house you can walk around and interact with things and in the kitchen it said "you could cook if there were groceries" and that suddenly makes sense.

cant wait to get off work and get back into this game

TBH, I've never tried any Persona game before and thought this game is a pretty straightforward/simple JRPG series but when I got to my first dungeon (during Yukiko), I immediately looked for a guide because I kept getting my ass beat up and boi, I was so wrong.. never realized there are tons to grind for.. looks like I found my next 100+ hour game. lol
