This is absolutely true! The most obvious clue is just the oversaturation of internet teachings about "how to start a clothing brand", which shows that there is an abundance of people looking to start a clothing brand, and very few that are actually making any money at it.

I think the people who truly LOVE fashion, not just clothes- are the ones that are gonna actually have something going for them. Clothes will always be a popular thing and the brands that are just trend hopping will probably not stay for long while brands like badson, personsoul, house of errors etc are gonna stay and truly change the game.

Also, if you're using clothing to get rich quick then you are completely in the wrong place lmao fashion has some of the lowest profit margins out of any industry and unless you're a haute couture brand then you really are not going to get rich. You'll be well off for the time being for sure but you can fall off at any given day, that's just how it is.

I personally don’t think it’s over saturated if you create somthing new! if you want to created a “elevated basics” clothing brand….dont because then your brand is going to be coined as “cheaper helmut lang”….if you want to create a “eco friendly” clothing brand, the most eco friendly thing you can do is not create a brand, you have to create a clientele! If you don’t design your own graphics and design…you will fail, bc why would someone buy from you when a bigger and more reputable brand is selling the same thing.

At the end of the day do your research and learn about all aspects of business/marketing rather than just creating and manufacturing clothes that will go on discount next season.

Bro i’am from Germany and this is the second video I’m watching from you. Here we have the exact same problem what makes me annoyed, because the people like me, who are actually interested in creating something innovative with an unique identity, got very bad chances to fulfill their dreams. There is a new Tiktok Trend Brand every other day or streamers who have nothing in common with fashion having their clothing lines with a lot of clout. I feel like Fashion should go more back to designing, knowledge about materials and creative ideas. I just wanted to thank you for the video because it basically summarized all my thoughts on that topic. I will try my best to achieve my goals, even though the way to it is getting more difficult everyday 🙏🏽🤞🏽

If the market is oversaturated, then take the example of Thomas Crapper's plumbing company, they invented toilets, but now millions of companies are making toilets, advancing them, and they eventually blend into the market, making tons, people are buying toilets cuz its a necessity! Clothing brands are similar, clothes are a necessity, its not like that if I say "Oh Balenciaga makes so nice clothes imma buy from them my whole life now" its not like that, if a new store opens, the most realistic and natural reaction one has is that he visits it, checks out the stuff there, buys some, tests it, and depending on the customers choice if he likes it, that guy recommends your clothing brand to someone else, and the loop continues. Its not like clothing brands are now impossible to grow! Start small, and eventually it will take tons of time to scale up, but when it scales up.... TONS TONS TONS!!!!

lwk appreciate it im starting a Christian brand trynna Glorify The Father but I also just love fashion and designing clothes bur most importantly im trynna spread The Gospel. Also Jesus died for yall even though we've all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of Yahweh and even though we've done horrible things He came to earth and humble Himself being fully Elohim and fully human and He decided to live a sinful life and conquer sin and then He died for us on The Cross and took on all of our punishment and now offers the free gift of life and salvation if we believe in Him and follow His word/commandments.
