now i understand why vtec has been made. it is in order to allow more increased exhaust gas volume due to higher/richer AFR to flow through the exhaust pipe, beside the increment of the intake volume itself. thanks for making this video

Is it just me or does not everyone else see and hear the AFR go fat the last 1000rpm or so. Is this intentional to save the engine from hitting the governor and going lean?

i have had a couple swapped and stock d series civics. jave to say make alot of noise and doesnt go anywhere. lol

All that noise and high rpm power shifting and you still get driven around by a 7, 000 lbs Chevy Express conversion van with a nearly 70 year old pushrod V8 design that is reving 2, 700-5, 500 rpm in 2nd gear to make the same acceleration run mph wise.
