Qatar was invaded by the First Saudi State, also known as the Emirate of Diriyah from 1793 to 1798. It was caught between the ongoing clash between the Arabian tribes, the Ottomons, and the Persians. Each trying to rule it under its intended version of Islam, and ruling family in the region. Between 85 and 90 percent of the approximately 21 million Saudi citizens are Sunni Muslims. Shia Muslims constitute 10 to 12 percent of the citizen population and an estimated 25 to 30 percent of the Eastern Province's population.

I just want to mention that I believe this persecution isn’t just for what is coming. I have gone through two decades of persecution via two siblings and engagements. Defamation, libel, slander, lies, gossip all due to them wanting control over my mother’s estate that I was asked to help with being the oldest boy of 7 kids. I haven’t been married at 67 because of these people constantly on my back. My mom is gone now. They got off my back because they projected on me what they were doing. I’m burned out. If anyone came after me now, I don’t know where any energy would come from to protect me or anyone else. I am a sincere believer. My siblings… atheist.
