Trying these marker comparisons in short form for shorts! I briefly go over some similarities and differences between the Chameleon Markers and Copic Markers while I color this fantasy character! On the left is Chameleon and on the right is Copic! Let me know your thoughts on these quick versus, and tell me what you'd like to see next!

For highlights, I used a white Posca paint pen on both sides

There’s definitely a reason why Copics are the standard, and I generally prefer them. But it’s so nice to see cheaper alternatives for colors I don’t use very often!

Chameleon is smoother and has more solid colors with less streaks, copic was a bit neater but less saturated in color. I prefer chameleon because it’s cheaper, too.

Wow tbh I love both sides. It’s hard to see much a difference. Tho I love my copics markers. Especially ciao cuz they’re so small and comfortable in my hand.

The skin on the chameleon side started to bleed gray a little bit in the chest

Honestly, I use all types of alcohol based markers. I use Touchnew and Copics, and they blend easily into each other so that’s a major plus.

I like both equally but I like the solidness of the left and the more ( stable ) tones on the right.

Tbh I prefer copic but the thing is for the dress I prefer the chameleon markers

I prefer copic, yes they are expensive and they do have a small tip but it depends really on what pack you get I got the 100 pack and it was super cheap for me and the copic that I got actually came with 2 blending markers!Also the copic markets I got have two sides a bullet tip and the big tip also there are also other copic markers that have the paint brush tip which I like but they end up bleeding more through the paper more than the bullet tip ones but I love how the chameleon are also pretty cheap and look very good just like the copics but I have experienced both markers myself and I have found out if you trace out a sketch with a diffrent color marker or a pen that chameleon will bring that color out with it for example if you use a black pen to trace out a sketch and you use the marker to go inside of the trace it will bring the black into the color and it can ruin the markers and also have a blackish look to the color but if you wait for the pen to dry it will have a less advantage to blend with the marker and the copics you can technically use right after u use the pen on ur sketch but I generally think that both markers are very good!
