HOW TO MAKE BOTANICA IN FL STUDIO

**THANK YOU FOR WATCHING**
this video was in the making since june of this year.
and has been in development hell basically for a couple of months.
but I finally pulled through and put it out.

now it is noteworthy to say that the editing is insanely inconsistent.
I was going through some tough times, edited it—on and off for about several months, and I do not have enough time to go back and fix some mistakes.
(inconsistent font sizes, subpar editing and much more!)
and the fact that I am simply not well versed in this particular genre, I consider myself new to genre especially since its been 6-7 years since botanica became a thing.
I still tried my best to get something out there.

but once again, thank you for watching this video.
I hope you enjoyed and learned something of value from this video
if not then. (|| T ^ T)

I'm just getting into Botanica and it's nice to finally see a video on it that wasn't made 7 months ago because I was getting nervous that maybe it was only a thing 7 months ago and not a thing anymore 😆

Its like boring corporate music if they gave it life again, and I mean that in the best way possible lol

Hi i got this recommend on yt.
I really needed this tutorial cause i was overwhelmed with this genre.
My first attempt was just putting kshmr's foley and some impacts and call it a day.
Thank you!

I’ve had elements like this in a lot of the music I’ve made but had never heard of Botanica (I’m not the best with genre names)
So this was awesome to discover and learn some more about! Thank you!

5:50 you can just select the part you want to record, then press ctrl+alt+c to have it as audio.

reminds me of some Tekken songs. Mainly Tekken 7 stuff, I think, where they blend acoustic guitar with these electronic elements and sampling. I didn't know this genre was a thing. Pretty cool demo!

Love the methodological approach and overall aesthetics (love the font describing each part: is it the same font with the one used in NGE?)

When I think about Botanica structure I see it as a Hamburger. Main instrument surrounded by tonal fx and non-tonal fx.
