Can't thank you enough for all your wise teaching Ross. I didn't know what caused halts until today. I was trading $SGD and got caught in the halts. I just couldn't let go so I turned it into a swing. Hoping to recoup Monday. I should have been paper trading but I have trouble staying in the sim when there's real money on the table -- I'm learning though. BTW, LOVE the WT simulator. I haven't figured out how to configure my Webull to my liking, and I like my Fidelity Stock Trader Pro, but nothing looks as good or is as intuitive as WT's sim.

I've decided, previous to today, to just ignore anything that started under 0.75. There are plenty of other tickers out there to make money on. I did, however, learn a lot here on this video. Thanks, warrior trader!!

Thanks for the explanation. I am new and was also trading SGD that morning. I had no idea what was going on, as I have never heard of halts. The charts just kept stopping, and I didn't know why until now. I was very lucky and managed to pull out 18% of profit but was still very confused. Thanks again for this.

Thank you so much Ross. I thought it was just me. I quit after all of those halts. I quit for the day.
Fortunately, I was on paper like some others here.
"unreasonable" is an understatement.
Ross how do you approach trading those halts?
Is it even worth the risk?

FYI, Schwab is killing me. Scanner does not work until 9:30 eastern time. It is taking me out of the whole day.

I made $550 today on $APM now up 138% on the week. I started with $1000 on Monday, and closed today at $2, 387.10. Two weeks of watching Ross' videos. I can't say thank you enough for the wealth of knowledge. I didn't make any other plays today because I didn't see enough volatility.

I played SGD today too. First trade was a winner and went back in and lost everything I made and a tad more. Should have walked away. I heard your voice say don't over stay your welcome.

SGD was super tricky with all of the halts, seemed like you had to really be in sync with it to come out green. I was surprised to see you keep trading into PBM and SGD when you were already up 7k, so thanks for this recap explanation. I just finished my first week of the trial, learned a ton this week, looking forward to next week. I need to figure out how to get access to Level 2, as I feel like I'm only seeing half the picture when watching everyone trade real time.

Day 5 of my papertrading journey. I ended today about $11 in the red, but I was really happy with what happened. I bombed my opening trade of the day, dropping down almost $180. However unlike Wednesday, I managed to keep my focus on the strategy and keep disciplined. After another 4 trades, I had clawed back to only $11 in the red before I had to go to work. It was a red day, but proving I can keep my head on straight after fumbling so much early on felt good. Still, lots to learn and practice going into week number 2.

Managed to get 5 trades in today between 8:45 and 9:35 est. There wasn't a ton of opportunities in that time, but I managed to get some quick scalps on AIMD and PBM. 3 wins, 1 scratch, 1 loss. Small CMEG account went up 8.7% today. 4 green days, 1 red this week. Working on that consistency.
