PV narasimha rao's soul would be so happy today, finally somebody outside of india has actually called him a reformer, and showed Nehru and Indira Gandhi as socialists.

😂😂 I live in Jamshedpur. The city Tata built. Tata introduced CSR to the world. Jamshedpur is the first planned city of India, 5 th cleanest city of India, zero sewage disposal system, having 152 ancelories of Tata in the city also has 38% of greenery, cleanest water in India, highest literacy rate of a city at 84.5%. All this achieved with no municipality. Tata's the true industrialist.

It is soo disheartening to hear that even today people around the world think that there was a difference between British Raj and the East india company they both were equally brutal as like the nazis .

When I was a kid, my father used to tell me how proud his father (my grandfather) was when he joined the Tata group. When I was in college, my father (who had switched to a career in the Indian Air Force by then, after a successful career at Tata) urged me strongly to join Tata. By that time, economic development had begun in full force in India and I was fortunate to have got a job in another company. Still, 20 years later, and seeing the continued rise of Tata and its expansion well beyond the shores of India, it gives me immense pride that at least a part of me was associated with this iconic company that defined my India. :)

The Parsis in India came from Persia and lived as refugees. Probably they never stigmatized their situation which is why they are so enterprising and philanthropic. Ratan Tata is a very inspiring person by character. May God always bless him ❤

I am a Pakistani. Before partition of India and Pakistan my father worked for the Tata's as a tax consultant. He always spoke of the Tata's and Birla's with the greatest respect. What stood out for him was their hard work, integrity and their remarkable simplicity. I am reminded of Warren Buffett who also donates most of his wealth.
