It’s a huge achievement but what will ultimately matter is the scope for repeated booster reuse. If that’s achieved, then it’ll change the orbital game for sure, with or without a working starship on top.

Given how often the landing failures were caused by failed landing legs, this looks like a good solution. Would like to have listened in on the meeting where this was proposed. This does mean losing the option of landing on any flat surface… gotta have the catch tower.
