I feel like people have deeply misunderstood Robert Greene books. They aren’t “how-to” guides, and it’s really important that we don’t treat them like they are.

I'd also suggest Talking with Strangers by Malcolm Gladwell. Fantastic book that shows how bad we are at judging strangers using real life cases.

Reading The Laws of Human Nature rn. Pretty eye opening right out of the gate. Recognize so many things about yourself and why you did certain things within the first couple chapters which in turn makes you understand why other people do certain things.

Robert Greene is my favourite author for all things human - he really understands the human condition, relationships, and power. I know he's known mostly for power and manipulation stuff but there's so much more to it than that, as seen in Laws of Human Nature. His depth of research is a rarity today.
