Jung ah Choi, Daniel McCormick and Ivana Bueno are on fire in the Spanish Dance of Nutcracker.

English National Ballet's sparkling production returns to the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton, and the London Coliseum for a magical winter season in 2023-24.

The magical Christmas tradition for all the family.

Over 100 dancers and musicians bring Nutcracker to life with exquisite dancing, beautiful sets and Tchaikovsky’s popular score played live.

On a sparkling Christmas Eve in a frost-dusted Edwardian London, Clara receives an enchanted Nutcracker as a present. Together, they discover a magical world where she battles with the Mouse King and meets a handsome stranger. As the air grows colder, Clara and her valiant Nutcracker take a hot air balloon ride across London to the glistening Land of Snow where a puppet theatre comes to life with dancers from around the world.

From the sound of the orchestra tuning up, to the final bows and cheers, a trip to English National Ballet’s Nutcracker is an unforgettable Christmas treat.

Yes, I'm watching this hours after performing Spanish myself. Yes, I'm still very emotional about the last show.

The tempo feels a little slow in this version, but the Choreography is some of the best and most "Spanish" I've seen.

I love this! It’s so creative and flowy and I wish more professional ballet was like this! (I have yet to find a version of the Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy that I truly like. All the ones I’ve seen have to much walking and not enough spinning or flowing)

Why does everything the Spanish do look like a version of the paso doble? 😂😂😂😍😍😍

Gorgeous costumes and dancing!!! The trumpet player didn’t crack any of the notes, either!!! Our local ballet company uses a live pit orchestra and either the clarinet or the trumpet players crack notes!!!

A clear example of the "Españolada" which doesn't portray acurately Spanish Dancing as done in Spain. I wonder then why there is such a problem with pseudo Arabian and Chinese cliché in our day and age. Great dancing from the dancers.

Beautiful gestures and postures feel more Spanish than other productions... but the music is absurdly slow.
