Thank you for this episode. It was nice to learn about the stretchiness or elasticity of the different unspun yarn.

many thanks for sharing your experiences of using different unspun yarns 🙏
I love using them 💜 they make lovely light airy & warm garments that are very affordable to make 😊 I totally agree with you that the ribbing is not stretchy Thinking I will use a spun yarn for the rim of my next hat 😘

I love Nutiden, i use two strands and the knitted fabric has so much drape, just love the way it feels, yes cozy!

Very nice episode! I agree that hats made from unspun lack elasticity. Sometimes we want hats that don't crush our hair so much. I like the Inver Hat for that. But if I want a really warm hat, I think something that fits snuggly from plied yarn is best. My favorite attribute of unspun is the lightness and warmth. I have my whole family wearing sweaters I knit in Nutiden. t is like a warm hug!

Thanks for comparing the different unspun "yarns" that you've worked with. I've seen beautiful nutiden unspun all over instagram and podcasts, but it's so hard to get. They pre-sell to patreon supporters, and have closed off becoming a patreon (all levels sold out every time I check) so sales seem to function more as an exclusive club. I'll keep trying! I always love seeing your beautiful knits and sweet baby. Lovely podcast.

Yes! I wish we could produce more local yarn. We used to produce our own linen and hemp as well, here in sweden. It would create more job opportunities as well. And be much better for the environment.

It was so interesting to hear your comparisons of the different unspun yarns. I have some Nutiden and pletoulopi that I’ve yet to use. I think matching them to the right pattern is important. Thank you!

Nice to hear you compare these unspun yarns 🥰 I am knitting "Smycket" by Maja Karlsson in one strand of Plötulopi, which is my first time trying an unspun yarn. I really like it!

Your baby is lovely and carrying in a baby wrap is the best ❤️ greetings from Skåne

Thank you for discussing unspun yarn! I have some Manchelopi on the way to knit Ozetta’s Miles Shirt Jacket. I’m glad you said it is softer than plotulopi! What is the name of the beautiful green and white sweater you showed? I looked up all the sweaters you listed and it doesn’t seem to be any of those.
