►My review of the second album "Flawed Design" from the Canadian/American rock supergroup Saint Asonia. After a 4 year gap after their rather disappointing self-titled album in 2015, the batteries appear to have been recharged as Adam Gontier returns to form.

I’d say this is a solid improvement/evolution from their self titled album. Sirens in particular is probably my favorite song from this album, a lot coming from my love for both Adam and Sharon den Adel

i LOVED it, my favorites tracks would probably be "This August Day" and "Ghost", especially "Ghost",
as for someone who enjoys starset, i thought it was awesome that dustin co written the song, so yeah, i think it's a really good
album!, i loved it

Almost completely agree, except for the fact I do like The Fallen (the song is apparently a tribute to Chester Bennington and Chris Cornell). I forgot about the meaning behind it until I heard him say "the day I tried to live" . Adam and the rest of the band keep the formulaic radio rock strong enough to hold my interest because Adam is such a talented vocalist and you can still hear the passion in the songs, even though some of the lyrics might be a little predictable or the song structures pretty generic. It's a step up from their debut for me and I can look past the hit or miss lyrics and song formula the more I listen to it.

I really loved Sirens and Ghost. This August Day, Beast, The Hunted, The Fallen, and Flawed Design were all also top notch.

I love this album. Yeah, some lyrics are a but average but overall I'm very impressed. The only thing I don't really like about this album is the voice editing!!! Idk, maybe it's the production, but Adam sounds so much clearer on TDG albums or even on the 1st Saint Asonia album. On the Flawed Design his voice doesn't sound that "sharp", it feels heavily edited, and that's what I don't really like. He doesn't stand out as a vocalist on this album because of editing, which is a little sad considering what Adam is capable of. (sorry, I'm far from music but I hope you understand what I mean haha)

This is my album of the year cause Adam is my favorite artist lol and I can just relate to his stuff more than anyone I listen to. Martyrs is my favorite track probably, or The Hunted.

I was really disappointed in their first album especially given how much I usually like anything Adam is on but this album is much more along the lines of what I was hoping for. Liked it from the first listen and it continues to grow on me

Personally I'd rank this album a 4/5. All the songs are consistently good, there is no bad song on the album. What makes this album so good is that everyone has a different favourite song. Like yourself, you like The Hunted, many liked beast, this August Day and personally Ghost is my favourite. I feel like this is not only a step up from their self-titled album, but for Adam Gontier a step-up from Transit to Venus. The one negative I have is the lyrical content, as it lacked in some songs. Nonetheless, loved the album! Great review as well.

I prefer their first album by quite a bit. I think it has a lot more variety and of course more solos. Songs on this one definitely blend together for me
