Nice presentation 🎁. Just be sure, HP, to secure the lid when it's closed against the keyboard to minimize flexing of the lid. I prefer my 2019-early 2020 model which is all aluminum.

I'm so disappointed. I have been waiting for the Omen 17 with RTX 3080 for so many months now. I was happy to see that orders have started, now I'm sad because no RTX 3080 there.

My HP Omen 17 has such a disadvantage that sometimes when I run games, they run 10 times slower than they should. This happens randomly but mostly when the computer comes off a few minutes. When the system reboots it's OK. Anyone else have such a problem? This is very irritating.

HP should just make the switch fully to AMD and their Radeon counterparts in the GPU market. Go head to head with the Dell "Alienware" nub powerhouse that for the longest time ONLY used iNtel processors in their gaming laptops. Let HP lead the AMD charge against the iNtel scrouge and for now with the power of the Ryzen behind them, CRUSH any iNtel newcomer, and lay fallow of field Alienware with their iNtel lead debauchery!
