The best is to not use an tee. The ball goes lower which means more accuracy but it will still hold the green as the lie generates more spin. Much better for windier conditions and if you’re confident with your ball striking. Do this with long irons for position off the tee on par 4s it’s like a cheat code because they come out like bullets and don’t move left or right a lot if you hit down

I don’t even tee it 5 iron or up. Depends on how far I want to hit my 5 I might tee it or my 4 more usually. with my fairway woods I like it teed low, barely teed. Driver depends, controlled shot I tee lower.

Only ever tee up 6 & 5 iron (unless the tee box is terrible) and then only have them just sat up. Don’t understand why people tee up lofted irons makes no sense

The only people who tee up irons are those who only ever practice on mats, gotta learn a divot or you’ll never hit consistently

How about no tee. As long as I can get it to sit up a little bit, I rather do that.
