When Kelly was around 10 years old, he saved another boy from drowning in Hughes Creek. The boy's family gave him a green sash as a thank you, and he'd treasure it for the rest of his life. He wore it underneath the armor during his last stand. The sash is now on display in a seperate museum, and it still has tiny bits of Kelly's blood on it.

I believe (if I'm not mistaken) that their last stand was the first time they'd actually used their armour (hence why the authorities didn't believe the story at first.)

I was under the assumption his last words were "Such is life"

Glenrowan is in Victoria, not South Australia. And for those wondering, his armour was old ploughs, but he only really used this a couple of times late in his outlaw career / life.

got some Easy facts wrong
1: Glenrowoan is a Victorian Town, not South Austalia as Victoria was Formed before South Australia
2:During the time, Fosters and XXXX were not brewed, XXXX is a Queensland Beer and Fosters not even Aussie and was 1st brewed 9 years las,
3: at the Time (and still to this day) guards were always running in the Guards van which is always at the rear of a Train, the person who would have seen it would have been the Driver,
4: it wasn't all Sergeant Steele who caputred him, A railway guard with the last name of Dowsett also helped,

and some stuff you should have included or maybe would be interesting,
1: some of the coaches from that train survived till the 50's working on MOW trains, some were presvered,
2: the Judge who sentenced him died two weeks later,
3: during the 80's the Town of Glenrowan stopped and "held up" a passenger train, with someone dressed up as Ned kelly,
