A Peaceful Walk Through Mets | The Montmartre of Athens [4K HDR]

Показать описание
[4K HDR] Mets is a small neighbourhood, very close to all the main touristic attractions of the city center (it is a 10 minutes walk from Acropolis and just a few hundred meters from Panathenaic Stadium) but it is not touristic at all. It is located next to Ardettos hill and the First Cemetery of Athens, this is a place you should discover if you want to visit one of the most charming areas of Athens. Nicknamed by many as the Montmartre of Athens, Mets owes its name to a beer brewery, opened by Bavarian brewer Karl Johann Fuchs (the same man who founded Greek beer company Fix). The original name of the area is Ardettos, as the nearby hill named after the Athenian Hero Ardettes.
