I was working as an ironworker for local 3 in 2008 when everything tanked. There was a 72 year old man that had to come back to work with us because he lost his money in the market. Was one of the saddest things I've ever seen I honestly thought he was going to die. Ironworking is a very rough and unforgiving job and winters in Pittsburgh are also. Thank God the other guys had a heart too and let him work in the trailer organizing bolts with a space heater. Life lesson I learned save money whenever possible.

Ive been watching you for awhile! Much respect!! But u make finding opportunities sound so easy. Over night!!my household changed in Dec 2023. I had all four moderna vaccines, got Covid in 11/23. 12/23 I had a seizure that diagnosed a brain tumor in my frontal lobe cortex. I went from a 800 credit score to 450 in 6 damn months. All my money went to maintaining. Insurance I thought I invested to help in these situations, Denied! ( Years of monthly payments) Medical help seems none existent, and very expensive even after deductible. The grocery bill just for staples is ridiculous!!! I'm just 49 years old... I've worked hard since I was 14 years old... My parents did. My father was a decorated law enforcement executive lieutenant that had to fight for SS after a stroke! and died during Covid. Life is so hard for America

My family and friends would rather keep their heads in the sand even though they complain constantly about everything going on. I’m the only one who’s been warning them for years about what we are going through and it’s going to get worse and to prepare. They still mock me and make fun of me to this day even though they are struggling on all fronts and I’m the only one in my family and friend group that prepared and see the unrest coming to America. Also people in America are delusional if they think riots and unrest can’t happen here.

Our basic expenses have increased over $1000/month compared to a couple years ago. Just found out our medical insurance is increasing $50/week starting next months. Our lease expires in January and I’ll bet they increase rent again. It’s not sustainable.
