Hi Pavan, your videos are excellent i like them, just one thing in this video, you selected excel sheet with Date, Customer, Sales fields, when you link this excel sheet and open by default DATE & CUSTOMER fields are consider as STRING type, you first need to change the data type of DATE to DATE than only we can change its various formats like month, day, year etc, this part you didnt mention in this video.

Where is the Extract data is stored when the connection is Extract? Does Tableau create an Extract File?

In both live and extract we get the refresh data Either direct refresh or by extract refresh.. then what is difference between them...??
