When you're listening to Thundering Hammers and you hear "Christ's lovers" as "CHRIST LLAMAS" and now you're picturing a herd of thousands of llamas with long hair, beards, and white robes, galloping across the plains to the beat of Thundering Hammers. A truly majestic sight, especially in the springtime when the males lock their crowns of thorns in dominance contests to earn the right to mate.

Thank you for yet another truly amazing album! All the elements are here -- the grind, the noise, the brutalizing intensifying insanity! And the titular choirs even make an appearance to soften and enhance those harsher atmospheres. Vocals remind me so much of prime slipknot, self titled/iowa. Maybe i've just listened to those albums too much recently, but sick album. I've only ever listened to "Roots Of Earth Are Consuming My Home" back in 2014 when i was in Afghanistan. That was my shit for a year.
