Prescott College Water in the West

Показать описание
Water in the West is an iconic course at Prescott College that embraces an interdisciplinary and experiential approach. Students learn about the natural history of water in the West, water politics, social justice, conservation, Indigenous views of water, and more.
After two weeks of intensive classroom-based study, the course heads out into the field for an inside tour of the Hoover Dam and a four-day canoe trip on the Colorado River, where students experience firsthand everything they have been learning about. The class wraps up with ideas and strategies for building a sustainable watered future.
Big thank you to Joel and Iliana for the interviews and Soren and Ajay for the wonderful live music!
