Another commenter pointed out that this is Piotr Tomaszewski. He’s a regular performer at the Piazza della Signoria in old Florence, right by Palazzo Vecchio. He usually sits right in front of the Loggia dei Lanzi, entertaining travelers and collecting well-earned tips in his guitar case. If you’re ever in Florence, stop by that Piazza in the evening. It is a magical place and you’re likely to see Piotr there.
