Nice Nektar LP Jack. Ozric Tentacles I feel offer a similar vibe from more of a modern time, the Incredible String Band. That's a great album. Amazing what you come across isn't it. Teenage Fanclub. I bought a copy of Bandwagonesque... it's yet to reach my deck. But it will.
Thats a great haul, and some beautiful vinyl to boot. 😍🎵🎵🤘

Fantastic finds! I love Tom Waits and have lots of stuff on cd, but only a few on vinyl. I had a Nektar album as a teenager called, Remember the Future. Played the hell out of that thing. Of course, Message is the most interesting to me. It WOULD have been perfect for my thread. Tailor made! Great video, Jack, as usual.

Interesting stuff! I really like Catholic Education, there are certainly hints of what was to come. And cool to hear a Teenage Fanclub live anecdote. I saw them three times between 92-95. They did a lot of cool stuff on stage. Congrats to Message, always a thrill to catch a rarity like that. Cheers!

I'll be checking out The Offhooks. I've been in a chronological deep dive with Magnetic Fields, but I'll have to jump ahead for a Quickie. Love that Incredible String Band and Teenage Fanclub, and not usually much of a prog-head, but I may have to look into The Message. Great upload.

Hey Jack, I have just watched your video and am spending the rest of this sweltering afternoon in Mexico continuing packing up my records in preparation for the family's mega move to sunny Caithness!!...all while listening to Nektar's second album A Tab In The Ocean...which just made the cut to come to Scotland last weekend, although I actually havent listened to it very often. Now that I've accepted that this move is really happening and its now an unstoppable force, I'm starting to look forward to doing gigs and festivals around the UK again, just like the good old days! I have local event Tunes By the Dunes lined up end of August, and I'm wondering what your experience is of Tenement Trail in Glasgow? Looks right in my wheelhouse that one!
