How To Make A SIMPLE Budget In Google Sheets (Step By Step Tutorial)

In this video I create a step by step budget in google sheets. This google sheets spreadsheet is a simple budget that takes very little time to make, but it can help you when it comes to budgeting your money. When it comes to creating a budget, there are very few factors that come into play, but with the help of this video and google sheets, you can streamline the math. All you need to do is insert some values and the calculations will be done automatically. How to create a budget is helpful because you can track your spending and know where your income and money is going. With that, you can also see how much per month of your income is going towards expenses vs savings. This spreadsheet was created on a google sheets page, however you can use very similar formulas to create this same exact spreadsheet in excel. This google sheets budget template is a great way to start budgeting your money so that you can minimize over spending, and maximize your investing or savings!!!

First video I watched on this and so grateful I did. Perfect amount of information without it being overwhelming. I followed along the whole way and created my own as I watched the first time. Thanks so much! Great video, straight to the point and easy to follow. I've never done an actual spreadsheet before, so this was very helpful. I had to tinker a bit with one of the formulas in Excel, since they weren't matching exactly, but your instruction was a great jumping of point for what I needed to be adding to what where haha.

I also added a field to calculate the balance between my income and expenses, so I know how much I have left over at the end of the month. Now all I have to do is stick to the budget!
