Youtube certainly knows which videos, no matter how obscure, to recommend and when to recommend them...

I love how the engineers built side panels to give the arm enough room to swing without reshaping the entire fuselage. It's little details like that

When people who have never been near an airplane before try to ride one like it was the train to Delhi.

I've never seen how a C-17 operates it's landing gear. This is awesome, reminds me of when I saw one at an airshow. Thing is massive but quiet and turns on a dime.

looks like a very relaxing spot to sit

very interesting solution for solving upper mech interference by having opening doors on top

I can tell why they find a broken arm in the gears after landing. It is a very sad story.

the last few days this has gone from 5 views to 13k views. Jesus Christ! also, I do know why, it's just insane

When I saw comments, I feel sorry for those and their comments. It's really easy to judge while lying on the bed peacefuly and eating popcorn and watching this then leaving a stupid comment. No body wants to leave home, no body wants to die, no body wants to suffer from so much pain. Those innocent people which most of them were educated they were in high level of panic. So on that time, there are not so much time to think about everything. Instead of judging, wish them peace at less as a human for humanity.

I watched that Afghanistan video once and now my feed is filled with landing gear videos.

Everyone ignores the question that how they lifted up this plane at the first place

I wasn't aware till now that the gear rotates as it retracts up similar to the C5 Galaxy gear which also rotates as it retracts.

Poor Afghans who have no idea that even if they survive being crushed by the moving parts, they would still be frozen and suffocated to death at 30, 000 feet up in the air. But kudos to the US military for not giving a F to warn those poor Afghans and just take off.

Must be nice to have aux pumps that actually push some flow. The ones on my jet operate at .75gpm and we can barely even swing the nose by itself.

And this kids is why we don’t cling to airplanes

You have 5 seconds to board....so it's doable assuming you're in the right spot and your are at the front of the queue.

Very advanced a/c for the new Kabul skydiving club.

I think the guys spending hours to design how to accommodate the bulky gears fit in the streamline shaped limiting space were in a headache and big heads. Respect!

Why does that one panel above the landing gear pop out from the body while the landing gear is in motion?

Reason I'm here. To check out how comfortable it just may be to have a little sit on this while taking off to the skies
