I was in the nutcracker play when I was younger. As a kid I was the jester haha I remember everything. Now this makes me wanna get into ballet again and stuff and I’m 21 🥰 I’m signing up for classes next week because fall season is coming :))

Я русская и люблю наш балет, но как говорят у каждого своё виденье.я просто восхищаюсь когда смотрю на ту лёгкость и воздушность, с которой выступают артисты балета.а потом понимаю, что стоит за этим, многочасовые тренировки, диеты, отказ да же в отпуске, только потому, что потеряют форму, навыки.это адский труд, приносящий боль.но тем кто пришел посмотреть балет, никогда не увидеть ни боли, ни того насколько это тяжело, только потому, что артисты балета привыкли это скрывать.глубокий поклон всем артистам балета.спасибо за ваш труд, который невозможно оценить, хотя иногда этой оценкой служат овации и огонь в глазах зрителей.дай вам бог сил, здоровья и всех благ.

The Nutcracker is literally my childhood. It was the only thing that I would sit there and watch throughout the entire performance. I even started taking ballet classes when I was 6, and was gonna be in a Wizard Of Oz play, but stupid Covid ruined that. Oh well, lol. I really wanna get back into ballet, hopefully I can. And another time, my ballet teacher was in a Nutcracker performance. She was the King rat! Me and my mom got to watch it, and it was great. I’m definitely getting into ballet again. Great performance!!

I saw the Nutcracker being performed by a Russian ballet company in The Carré in Amsterdam, about 20 years ago. It was amazing!!!
