I grew up in the same town as Oklou. A French little town where nothing happen, where our dreams were big, like living in a big city, finding new aesthetics, getting out of our environment where culture is only being made by mainstream TV. I’m listening to this song and I feel like she’s telling the story of my youth. We both escaped but still we belong to that deserted landscape we grew up in, loving and hating it at the same time. Thanks Oklou for building up something bigger with what we had, see you around 🖤
