I bought one of these in 2022 and it worked for a few months and has been a paperweight in my garage after it crapped out. I didn't have time to fix it so it sat...and sat....and Finally got around to fixing it and it wouldn't start just like when I quit using it. I replaced the starting and running capacitors and it didn't fix the issue. I then tried to follow their instructions for making adjustments to the centrifugal sensor but there is a screw that needs to be removed and the phillips head stripped immediately as it is made of cheap chinesium.

It is a tough pill to swallow considering I paid around 1800+ after freight, lost a $12k job I was working on, and who knows how many other jobs as a result. Shopfox/Grizzly tried to get me to diagnose their table saw failure when I first contacted them but for a company offering a 2 year warranty it is not my job to do their work. A warranty delayed is a warranty denied (or in this case a warranty denied is a warranty denied) so you can pretty much ignore the warranty claim. Anyway, I won't be buying another shopfox product or using grizzly for power tools as a result. They ghosted me on the tech support and I expect they will deny my warranty claim even though it was filed just a few months after purchase. Just another big company stomping on the little guys.
