If you were wondering how the Coral Beach and L-Ahrax Coral Lagoon in Malta look like, watch this short video.

There are two ways how to get to the Coral Lagoon:

1. Drive to Armier Bay and park around the Malta Campsite. From there it is a short 5 minutes walk to reach the Coral beach and a bit further 5 more minutes to reach the L-Ahrax Coral Lagoon.

2. Drive to the Chapel of Immaculate Concepcion, park your car and walk along the coast for circa 20-30 minutes to reach the L-Ahrax Coral Lagoon. This option is good when you have more time and you want to explore the crumbling coastline.

Did you know that L-Aħrax means Rough (in EN)?

The terrain around the lagoon and along that coast is very rocky and sharp therefore if you plan to go, wear a good footwear and watch out where you step.

The Coral Lagoon is a collapsed cave, appearing like a huge hole in the shore. It is accessible from the sea and people tend to explore the lagoon on kayaks but some daredevils also jump in for the sake of the photos/videos. I wouldn't suggest that because the tides outside the lagoon are unpredictable and the shore is very rough & sharp to climb it up.
