is the passé being under the knees a style thing? I’m an R.A.D dancer and I was taught to bring my passé as high up as I can (or at least above the knee).

These ballerinas are going to develop some bad habits if they are allowed to continue not following-thru and completing the step like ending in 5th position or some ballet position instead of just relaxing, falling out of dance character, at end of turn.
