However, we've seen this playbook before - Netanyahu pushed hard for US intervention in Iraq, promises of 'quick victories' that led to decades of costly engagement. Hamas is gone? Most of Gaza fully supports Hamas! There will be no peace until Gazans and really all Muslims are moved out of Israel. It can be done sensibly and prudently and patiently. But it should be a goal of all Israelis and everyone that cares about Israel and it's most valuable people.
