This is a video update on the new clues we got in the hotfix update today for the 9 O'Clock Orb which is stuck and unsolved in Ratt's Revenge in the 20 year anniversary event in World of Warcraft: The War Within.

The creator of the puzzle said there was only a single code. Also the crystal in the crystal room has always been glowing. It is an asset it isn't part of this. If you take off your goggles, it still glows, it has always done this.

in the room with the red button. in the right side of the room where the book that is floating. there is a handwritten note saying " Note to self : my secret password is 466478" if that means anything

see this is the problem, they made the clues and the necessary actions too outside the box. like rats connected to statues and pressure plates. this is why i stop trying to figure anything out, i keep trying to be too logical. so far it just seems like they want you to go to random places with the toys active, then figure out what non related thing you have to do there.

HA I knew it!!!! that 9 O'clock orb was screwed up! It sounds like they just didn't give anyone any clues at all for the 9th orb, like they just left it alone and said we'll get back to it later. That's why no one could figure it out! Hopefully the other orbs won't be so screwed up and they went ahead and made sure the necessary clues are available.

I mentioned to someone in a discord a week ago that there was a good chance they were gonna wait till the next patch to hotfix this stuff in, considering how wack these hotfixes have been.
Well i was partially right.

I liked the Legion puzzles but this is just so complicated there is no way anybody could ever solve this alone

Well like most, I've completed 8th orb and waiting on how to do the 9th. But at this point I don't think this mount is worth the trouble but I'm to invested so I'll finish this ridiculous endeavor for a mount I'll use maybe once? So I guess it's really for the puzzle solvers that like these challenges. For all this effort this should have been the new auction mount as a reward. Who knew it'd be so involved. Even when u watch a video on how to do stuff, it still requires brains/skillz to complete it. GL to all of us 😆😆😆

Josh said the big blue crystal thing in the crystal room has sparkles by default as part of the asset and can be ignored.

Maybe that last one is that you got to wait til l that date before something unlocks or updates, i just have that feeling that is a huge troll the last one.

I think I've seen the purple ritual thing on the floor somewhere else but cant remember where. Maybe there's more of those to solve that ultimately open the chest

Also the symbols above the door appear to be linked to the newly shiny items. Books, the big crystal and the hourglass. Could the books and their detailed page numbers be codes? Saw the cake and for some reason immediately thought of the boss in the Nighthold which involves cake and cleaning lol, possible link?

Maybe try expansion release dates, or all the anniversary celebration dates? Perhaps they correspond to the icons over the door?

Seems like all the pyres have been progressing through all the expansions and if you include the vanilla release and the "final" 2 unreleased expansions there would be 12 in total

under the eye in the cave is an deadly cake, if you survive (paladin) all secondary stats are reduced by 185. and a big green cloud is over your head

ConCon, beside the eye of the void there is a cake as well. Not sure if it is apart of this or not

There are books that refer to the secret waking nightmare (mount)

-I also found in one of the 3 caves outside Karazan a note that says second clue and when you click it you can hear applause and screams

I also saw that a bracero was activated on the stairs when entering the third column.

for the glowing cake/landern, i wonder if you need the debuff from the cake in the area where you scare Ratt's in the cave
