Morso 7110 Wood Stove Review

Sharing my thoughts on the Morso 7110 indoor wood burning stove and talk about some of the pros and cons. Hopefully it helps someone decide if it's the stove for them. I use this stove all winter long burning approximately 2 or 3 cords per year. It really is a life saver in the event of a power outage during frigid polar vortex cold spells! Overall, I do recommend this stove, but because it's smaller it has limits. It's better suited as a secondary heat source in a medium sized home. Or if you are heating a smaller home or cabin, this stove will certainly do the job as a primary heat source. This stove and venting system was professionally installed.

Thanks for the review. I have been interested in this stove and there are not many reviews online. I have heard there is a set screw on the bottom of the damper handle that stops the damper from fully closing. Supposedly if you remove it you can have much longer burn times. There are some threads on reddit about it.

I also have a stove of smaller size. 1.3 cu/inch box. It's great but for primary heating of my house there's a lot of back and forth and loading wood. I'm in the same boat as far as pros and cons. I thought I'd be using it occasionally but I enjoy it so much I'm constantly using it! Cheers and enjoy your fires
