I’m glad he mentioned the medias responsibility in this. If they had not played his full rallies in 2016 or not fact checked him or blatantly called him a racist, we may not be having discussions like this. The media cared a bout viewers and clicks. I wish Harris would say that her job as a sitting Vice President is the same as for all her predecessors and that is to provide support to the President and give him suggestions that might not a line with the President (in private). It is not right for a sitting Vice President to criticize publicly a sitting President. Many will not do it after they leave office.

I am sure all the Vice Presidents we have had did not always agreed with their Presidents.

When it comes to what Trump asked Pence to do to retain power that was against our constitution and legal advice then a Vice President has to do what is right and defy the President like Pence did.

Harris should use this explanation for why she personally has not done what she wants to do as a President in the last three years and will not criticize his decisions made or he makes between now and when he leaves.

This has been true for the Democrats and Republicans.
