and it cost three of them, so I collected it and made one artifact of crit rate with atk and crit damage, and after leveling it up, crit damage didn't increase and now I am thinking I have to farm again...

I think that the mechanic for it is not good. 40+ days per cycle for 1 elixir is very typical of Hoyo. They made all these amazing changes and then kept with their old bad habits of unreasonable time gating
