You don’t need the bigger screen if you back up all the time. I have the same van and i back up all the time. I only use the camera to check if someone or something is there. Much easier to use the mirrors fr navigation.

Honestly if your buying this as a cargo van (Because thats what it is) they should really make the 8 inch screen standard for safety because now If i buy a used one and most don't have larger screen I have to look into upgrading the screen to 8 inches and that could cost thousands.

Wanted to use a transit cargo van as a shave ice van. Trying to decide between standard v6 or option with ecoboost. I test drove standard and if seem like it will suffice. However, not sure if adding equipment in the cargo will slow it down drastically. What engine option do you think is best? Will the standard suffice?

My interest has grown in these vans. Previously I leaned towards the Ram Promaster because of the bigger interior with the wider and lower load floor. Plus it was good value for what you were spending. But that is no longer the case. Especially since their pricing advantage has all but disappeared. Now I am starting to view the Ford Transit as a better choice. Especially with the eco boost and AWD options available. Still not a fan of the too European looking grill and front end styling. I like the traditional American front end styling more seen on the Econoline vans. (Now only chassis cab or cutaways.)

I just recently bought a Chevy Silverado 2015 that has I bought it when I had 71, 128 mi on it I couldn't find anything that would fit into my budget I did have a trade in a 99 GMC Sierra but when I pay off my pickup that I have now I will be looking for a Transit cargo van something that I could convert where I can go camping and fishing and just kick back and relax
