If you want to make Edgar playable, it's not about buffing Edgar, it's about reworking the game since 90% of brawlers either have controls or dashes to deal with aggressive plays, and the few ones that have neither have insane damage at close range (pam, bo, griff, sometimes rico and spike). This is the real reason why pure tanks and assassins are unplayable : every brawler has a way to deal with them.

A way to buff Edgrar:
- range buff
- health buff
-built in Hard landing star power
- New star power that can stun people with super!
- DPS buff, to make up for this meybe a reaload speed nerf

honestly even when cryingman plays with the worst brawler he is still the best :D
our third played with edgar and i was thinking "wait a minute, isnt he like the worst brawler " lol, but ngl we were doing pretty good, especially in heist... love your videos cryingman!!

I feel that a good rework for edgar would be to give him his first sp as a passive plus a slight increase in his hp of 250 points his new sp could give his super more range or a secondary effect such as a 0.5 second slow thank you as always cryingman for giving us such good content💙

Making his first sp as base. Adding a new sp where he gets a bar, which charges (not as slow as shelly's band aid and but not as fast as bibi's, but at the same rate as fang's second sp) overtime. Once edgar jumps it slows down enemies for a 1 second OR it prevents people from using their super for 1 second

Also his normal attack range should be as wide and as much as fang's (excluding the range gained from flying shoe mechanic)

very entertaining video. Yes, Edgar needs a rework, he's too good in showdown for a simple balance to work. But don't you have the Quick Draw Edgar skin? I like it a lot.

i think they should add a inmunity shield for 1 second after landing and remove the 1st gadget cuz it will be op and 2nd gadget will become useless

After finishing this challenge for myself, I have no clue how you always win these challenges with randoms. I lost two matches before I decided to look for a team, after which we swept the rest of the games without a single loss, and only had trouble on our second gem grab game. CryingMan too OP <3

I think Edgar needs an attack range buff (about 2 tiles more, after all he attacks with a long scarf, so it should at least be longer than primo!). His gadgets are fine imo. His hard landing star power is good, but I’m not sure about his extra healing one. I think a longer speed boost from his super would serve him well as an assassin. I don’t know about this one, but what happens when you heal him for a percentage of his missing hp? I’m thinking 15%. That’s over double the usual at very low hp, but a little worse at half hp. (353 -> 630 per hit with 1 hp remaining, but 353 -> 315 with half hp remaining, all at lv 11)

Bro you gotta share your secrets on how to play him.

But for the rework, they could increase his health and attack range; work with the damage such that his hands are more involved; put the first sp as part of his super, and a short immunity against adverse effects, and maybe for his sp replacement, they can give him one that either adds a 4th round, further increases the max range.

Just some thoughts.

I think a good rework for edgar would be to buff his hp to 4800 or 5000 and nerf his lifesteal by 15 or 20 %, add first star Power into base kit, and add another which increases his range or makes slows and stuns less efective on him(i have no idea if the star power will be broken but just my idea, if not the first i suggested just a half tile or full tile range buff).Its my idea ot might be broken but idk im noob🤣.
