I know this isn’t an original thought - but Apple, why for the love of God, can’t you release the beautiful new 24” display from the iMac as a standalone monitor? There are so so many MBP and MacMini users who would pay the premium over Dell/LG/Samsung to get a really incredible display - especially now that so many of us are working from home…

I think that an SD card reader is essential for content creators who will be a large part of the market for this device. And it needs to be front-facing- cards slots on the back of machines are useless.

I predict one of the most powerful Mac mini without any ports whatsoever, not even a power socket. It would be just a beautiful block of carved aluminum block for 3k dollars, with a beautiful apple logo that changes colors as the sun rises and sets. Buyers can watch it all day, in total awe.

I’m probably getting one for my son as he will be using it more for both Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. If the apps are coming for gaming, he might use it a bit for that purpose, as well.

I might be returning my M1 iPad Pro after I see the 14” M1X MacBook Pro. I’ll miss some of what the iPad Pro offers, but I think that the new MBP will shine even if it doesn’t have a mini LED screen.

I'm an audio guy so I'm more concerned about developers like Avid, Waves, etc. catching up. I'd hate to have to use Rosetta 2.

Considering getting one, I would use the new Mac mini as my main computer stationary on my desk with three monitors. and get the IPad 12" Pro for portability. With my current MacBook Pro, I see that its always plugged in (batteries are dead). Thanks for the video

I bought the M1 MacBook Air last Christmas and it rocks. Now this MacMini, with these specs...nah. I thing I will wait for another year to get even better performance.
